The newly rebranded Le Mans Classic Legend edition turned the spotlight on endurance racing’s most famous competitors from eras gone by.

Grids spanned the 1970s through to the 2010s, from the likes of the 1973 Lola T292s and the 2015 Ligier JS P2.

NASCAR joined the fray with the HSR NASCAR Classic grid of American stock cars, the rosso corsa of Ferrari was in full force with the Berlinetta Challenge support races and the GT3 Revival Series brought back the greatest endurance racing cars from the likes of Aston Martin, Lamborghini and Porsche.

And legendary Formula 1 designer Gordon Murray served as guest of honour with a parade of his most celebrated creations, including the McLaren F1 GTR that won Le Mans in 1995 and his latest ground-effect-inducing supercars.

Beyond the racing, the event's village, concerts, and exhibitions gave the weekend the same festival energy that's made Le Mans Classic a fixture on the historic motorsport calendar.
