How teams and drivers prepared for the 2025 United States Grand Prix

The 2025 United States Grand Prix certainly wasn’t F1’s first rodeo in Texas but there were plenty of unknowns given high track temperatures, a dominant Red Bull piloted by Max Verstappen, and a tight drivers’ championship fight.

Indeed, the sprint provided great drama with both McLarens tangling and bowing out of Saturday’s race before Verstappen took the win on Sunday for maximum points in Austin.
Haas brought upgrades to the race in the form of floor and sidepod changes, while others focused on using the sprint to hone their respective set-ups for Sunday’s grand prix.

Here’s what we noticed from the pitlane and paddock of the Circuit of the Americas.
